Theyre Done

Ive done it Ive uploaded my re-subs into my folder in Plone ready for marking. I am so nervous they have been a challenge but I think, hopefully, they have improved, felt really positive when they were finished and now all the negative 'what ifs'are setting in. Going to keep my eyes shut tight like when Im on a rollercoaster ride at Alton Towers and pray it all goes ok. Cohort 10 have been so very supportive throughout these last two weeks and I want to take this opportunity to thank them and I loolk forward to catching up with them on the current modules. :)

On line learning

Where do I start? I thought I was relatively knowledgable towards on line learning, how wrong was I, since reading more about it I have opened up so many new avenues for myself and also increased my knowledge of my ICT skills in the process - its all good then! First Class, Facebook, Bebo, Blogs where shall I navigate to first its all so exciting!!

Cohort 9 - Glynis

I accessed my previous cohort last night and saw that Glynis has decided to take time out, after reading her posts I can completely understand how she feels having had first hand experience of juggling work, personal and study life, sometimes the going gets too tough and you just know that something has to give. The good thing about this degree is that you can pick up where you left off and re-join a new cohort, this in itself is exciting meeting a whole new gang of people and I can assure you they will be very welcoming and support you through everything and help to re-gain your confidence, Ive got through the last two weeks asking the most silliest of questions, having to understand that they are well on their way with RIWS and Action Enquiry but nevertheless they have taken the time to help me. Glynis I wish you well in all you do and feel sure this is the right decision for you at this time. Hope to see you back soon.

Sunday 4 October 2009

I thought I might share with you what I have learnt since starting my university experience

  • I need to read in more depth
  • How I have to check most words on dictionary.com
  • Im really alot thicker than I originally thought
  • Im lost without my laptop by my side
  • Im getting addicted to FC
  • How heavily I rely on my peers in FC
  • How I feel the most stupid person in the cohort
  • Most of all, how helpful my peers are.
